Pediatric Care

Why your pediatrician may refer you to us:

  • Large or recurrently infected tonsils or adenoids
  • Chronic or recurrent ear infections
  • Chronic or recurrent sinus infections
  • Hearing loss and/or speech delay
  • Loud snoring or chronic mouth-breathing
  • Suspected sleep-related breathing disorder or obstructive sleep apnea

These are some of the common Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) characteristics that one should be aware of in kids. These are NOT normal and are potentially curative with a straight-forward surgery.

  • Snoring
  • Restless sleep
  • Mouth breathing
  • Waking frequently during the night
  • Bed-wetting
  • Sleep-walking
  • Morning tiredness
  • Daytime fatigue
  • Nighttime coughing
  • Behavior disorders (including ADHD symptoms)

90% of children with SDB have school-related issues! These can include learning disabilities, poor concentration, or even behavior problems.
